Broccoli & Cauliflower Salad



Here's an old stand by salad that our family loves...

1 lb. broccoli washed and chopped
1 head of cauliflower washed and chopped
1 red onion peeled and chopped
Desired amount of bacon or ham chopped
1 cup raisins
1 cup mozzarella cheese

Mix together in large bowl.

Dressing:
1 cup Miracle Whip or desired salad dressing
2 TBLSP sugar
2 TBLSP cider vinegar
3/4 to 1 cup milk

Shake dressing ingredients and pour over salad.  Chill and serve.

I served this salad with homemade applesauce and Hamburger Helper (I know, I totally cheated on this.) We got our fruit, vegetable, dairy, protein and carbohydrate all in one meal.
